All our sleeves are manufactured using FSC-certified wood from sustainable forests. 50% of this wood stems from native woodlands, the other 50% are imports. FSC-certified wood is gained from responsibly managed forests. Their compliance with these very high standards is subject to regular controls.
All shipments are sent with carbon-neutral postal services and the emissions produced are measured and documented. To offset the production of CO2, we support the renowned climate protection projects ‘Wald-Wiese-Moor’ (Germany) and ‘Jari Amapá’ (Brazil). ID number: DE-077-629916
We also keep our website carbon-neutral by supporting climate protection projects in Germany and Brazil. All CO2 emissions produced by operating this website are monitored and offset by the renowned climate protection projects ‘Wald-Wiese-Moor’ (Germany) and ‘Jari Amapá’ (Brazil). We support ‘Gesicht Zeigen! – Für ein weltoffenes Deutschland’. The organisation, whose name roughly translates into ‘Take a stand! – For a liberal-minded Germany’, stands for and actively encourages respect and tolerance. They speak out against racism, antisemitism and extreme right-wing violence, raising awareness through various types of activities such as campaigns, educational programmes, events, and workshops. They are active in the public arena, but also work on a one-to-one basis with the people. The aim of the organisation is to strengthen our democracy and the civil society. As they say, their work is current, political, and interactive.
Part of our profits goes to the Plant-for-the-Planet Trillion Tree Campaign, a project developed to combat the climate crisis. On its own planting area on the Yucatán Peninsula, Plant-for-the-Planet has proven that large scale planting can be done efficiently and cost-effectively. Today, three million healthy trees are growing into forests on a once degraded area of the Yucatán Peninsula in Mexico.

With our financial support, Plant-for-the-Planet has set up academies where they educate children to become ambassadors for climate justice – over 70 000 children and young people from 67 countries are already involved!
The aim of the children and youth initiative is now to plant a trillion trees all around the world. Trees are the cheapest and most effective way to bind CO2 and thus give mankind a time joker to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions to zero and mitigate the climate crisis.
